Saltimbanco in Monterrey

So, it's been a while since I updated. Nothing much to say though. I'm still working at Sears as a cashier. My dad gave me the option of not working since I'm going to school now but I decided to keep working because I still need money for myself. I only get paid about $150 bi weekly but it's still something. Last paycheck was really good though. I got paid $780 but it's all gone now, lol.



The reason why I don't have any of that money left is because I went to Monterrey, MX to see Saltimbanco, Cirque du Soleil's oldest touring show. It was really cool but Varekai is still my favorite. I had to take a bus there because I'm scared to drive in Mexico, it's wild. So we left at 7 am and arrived around 11. We took a cab to where the Grand Chapiteau was supposed to be and searched for it. After we found it, we went to eat.



Then we decided to go to the mall. The mall was really nice. For some reason everyone in Monterrey looks like their white (Hey Helle, you can go to Monterrey and not worry about dirty mexicans because everyone there look like you, lol). After the mall, we went back to the Grand Chapiteau and got our tickets. We walked around the park for a while and then headed back for the show. They opened the shop so we looked around for a bit because they hadn't opened the actual tent. I only bought the show program and a magnet because they didn't have anything from any other shows. Varekai's shop has a bunch of stuff but Saltimbanco's shop sucked. So they opened the main tent and we went in and 10 mins. later, the show started. At first, I didn't think I was gonna like the show but I did. I wish I could have seen it again but I have a feeling I will when it comes to the U.S. after the Mexican Tour.



I'll be ok if I don't see Saltimbanco again because I'll be seeing Varekai live again in Miami probably in January or February. My dad is paying for my trip to Miami. We wanted me to go to college so bad that he said he would pay for it if I started this year and so I did. I hope Toddy goes because I plan to surprise her when we go to see the show. I'm really excited but worried because it's still a while off and something happen, not necessarily bad but you never know.

Like right now Arezo isn't talking to me because I forgot her b-day which I thought was last Friday but it turned out it was the Friday before. I tried calling her but she isn't answering. I've left about three messages but she hasn't called back. I honestly thought it was last Friday. Oh well, I'll keep trying to talk to her.

Well I have to go now. I have to go to my Speech class which is about 3 hrs long.
